The series based on 'Creepshow' has been renewed for a second season on the VOD platform AMC Shudder. Created by the executive producer and EP of 'The Walking Dead' Greg Nicotero, the format is based on the iconic 1982 film written by Stephen King and directed by George A. Romero.
'Creepshow' is Shudder's first hour-long series since its launch in 2016, and More than 50% of the platform affiliates saw at least one episode of the series, fulfilling all the expectations they had for their first original series with record numbers in all areas.
The general manager of Shudder, Craig engler. express:
"Greg Nicotero and his team presented an incredible program that is unlike anything else on television and we are delighted and excited to bring it back for another season."
The first season of 'Creepshow'is starring David Arquette, Adrienne Barbeau, Tobin Belk, Big Boi, Jeffrey Combs, Kid Cudi, Bruce Davison, Giancarlo Esposito, Dana Gould, Tricia Helfer and DJ Qualls. It presents adaptations of stories from Stephen King, Joe Hill, Joe R. Lansdale, Josh Malerman and others. The end of the first season is broadcast on Halloween night.
