Blue Eye Samurai Season 2 Renewal Status
No renewal for a second season of Blue Eye Samurai has been announced by Netflix as of this writing. That may alter based on how well-received the series is, considering its nature and setup.
Before renewing a program, Netflix, like other streaming services, often looks at several data, such as the show’s initial viewership and subsequent drop-off rate. Some programs (like Squid Game, Bridgerton, etc.) have rapid renewals or cancellations. On the other hand, Netflix’s judgment on a show’s future might often take months.
Many have praised the tone, action, and drama of Blue Eye Samurai, and the film has received mostly positive reviews from reviewers and viewers alike. Given the importance Netflix placed on the completion rate, it’s clear that this is a contentious issue. Still, it’s not hard to watch since there are just eight episodes.
In addition, the program has great online involvement, with some quite remarkable statistics, as seen on TelevisionStats. The likelihood of this one’s renewal is greatly enhanced by all of this.

Blue Eye Samurai Season 1 Ending
The last episode finds Mizu and Ringo making their way to Edo Castle, where she plans to eliminate Fowler and save Akemi. Despite Fowler’s apparent dominance and realization that Mizu is a woman, Mizu’s dogged persistence ultimately triumphs.
At some point, Fowler asserts that he knows more about Mizu’s background and reveals that the undesirable girls were sold off by either Skeffington or Routely. He then astonishingly discloses that Mizu’s presumed mother was a hired maid who had been instructed to conceal her. Knowing he might hold the key to her finding closure, Mizu spares his life and locks him up before setting ship for London in search of more clues.
Blue Eye Samurai Season 2 Plot
The plot of Blue Eye Samurai is unique. Therefore, you won’t be able to read the future in a comic book or book. Nonetheless, crucial hints have been left behind by interviewees and the program itself.
After saving Fowler’s life in the season one finale, Mizu seeks the two white merchants, Skeffington and Routley—one of whom may be her real father—in the hopes that he would take her to them. Mizu will have to travel halfway across the globe to London, if Fowler is to be believed, to reach them.
Blue Eye Samurai’s executive producer and director, Jane Wu, discussed the sequel in an interview with Variety. Season 2 will presumably take place in London, where the two surviving drug dealers will be pursued.
As Mizu continues to deal with her former sworn enemy and current prisoner, Fowler, it will be fascinating to see their interactions. Even though Fowler says he has found all of his children, he is still being considered as a possible biological father to Mizu.
Mizu has never really fit in with Japanese society because of her mixed ancestry. Is relocating to England going to alter that? Or does the fact that she is half-Japanese ensure that she will always be an outcast?
